Q: Who is Cutie Pie?

So glad you asked!  I'm originally from San Diego, CA and have been clowning for almost 10 years now.  About two years ago my grown up job sent me to 29 Palms and I absolutely fell in love with the beauty of the high desert and its wonderful community.  I decided to relocated here last December and am having so much fun being the new clown in town!

Q: What does Cutie Pie do exactly?

Well, that depends on the specific clown.  All of our clowns are trained in balloon twisting and face painting, but some of our clowns have other special abilities like magic, specific activities, music, or pets that they can bring with them if requested.

Q:  Why is it called Cute Clowns if it's just one clown?

Because in San Diego I actually had a entire team of clowns that all had the similar look and offer high quality entertainment.  But now that I have moved to my new clown town, it's currently just me until I can find even more Cute Clowns to join in on the fun.

Q: How much does a Cutie Pie cost?

Pricing is based on time and activities.  All bookings come with face painting and/or balloon twisting. Parachute games can be requested at an additional charge.  You can request a quote by email or text and of course if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer all of them.


Q: How much time do I need to request?

For face painting AND balloon twisting I recommend 1 hour for every 10-15 guests. If you are requesting activities in addition to these, it is recommended that you figure an additional 20 minutes into your overall requested time.

Q: How soon should I book?

As soon as possible!  I book on a first come first serve basis.  I can take bookings up to 6 months in advance.

Q: Is a down payment required when booking?

No down payment is necessary.

Q:  Okay, I’m ready! How do I book?

Yay!  Please feel free to contact me directly by phone, text, or email. To check pricing and availability, I just need the date, time, and location of your event.  I can then let you know if I am available and also the rates.  Once you’ve decided to book, you simply fill out an official booking form through email and the booking is considered official.

Q:  Will I receive a confirmation for my event?

I email final confirmations the Wednesday before your event.  For example, if your event is on a Saturday or Sunday, you will receive a confirmation email 3-4 days before your event.  If your event is on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you will receive an email confirmation the week prior to your event.

Q: What if I need to cancel?

Life comes up.  If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please let me know as soon as possible.

Q: What types of payments do you accept?

Primarily cash, payable directly to Cutie Pie at the end of the event.  Checks are a secondary option and credit cards or PayPal payments are possible if notified in advance.

Q: Who do I make the check payable to?

Q: Do I need to provide anything for my Cute Clown?

I'll arrive with everything I need for your event including supplies, chairs, and a table.  All I really need at any event is a nice, shady area to keep cool or someplace warm if the weather is not so nice.

Q: What is your tipping policy?

Tipping is how I know you liked me!  If you are totally impressed by me, feel free to tip.  But don't worry, I won't cry if you don't.  Tips are never expected but always appreciated.
